Description

The CAMPS Lobby Day is a critical opportunity to ensure policymakers hear directly from CAMPS members. Your voice matters—let’s make an impact together!  This approach will allow for a more strategic and focused effort in meetings with legislators. 

Proposed Agenda

  • Proposed Agenda
    • 10:00 AM – Check-In & Welcome
      • Location: CAMPS Office, One Capitol Mall, Suite 800, Sacramento, CA
      • Distribute schedules, briefing materials, and talking points for the day.
    • 10:30 AM – Lobby Day Orientation & Strategy Session
      • Overview of the day's agenda and logistics.
      • Key talking points for legislative meetings.
      • Review of bills and issues to be discussed.
      • Q&A session to address any questions or concerns.
    • 11:30 AM – Lunch
    • 12:30 PM – Depart for the State Capitol
      • Departs the CAMPS Office to head to the Capitol.
      • Security check and navigation to meeting rooms.
    • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Legislative Meetings
      • Small groups meet with legislators and/or their staff.
      • Discuss key bills and issues impacting [organization or cause].
      • Share personal stories and advocate for positions.
